It’s a historic occasion—my very first blog! Style Magnet customers already know that I’m always out there looking for the ideal garments to meet their needs for any style solution. Creating a blog has always been part of the job part of the job description, and now it is here (it is never too late to start).
Let’s get started. After the positive comments I’ve received from my most recent Style Magnet shopping excursions, I’ve decided that there is no better time than now to start planning your Christmas and New Year’s party ideas. Especially since we need to make up for last year’s postponed plans.
The excitement of going to social events has definitely returned, but with it comes the constant question of “what am I going to wear?”.
Keep reading my first blog for my personal stylist selections. There is a Christmas party outfit out there for everyone this season, regardless of price, and in everything from dresses to trousers, maxis to minis.. some are more casual, some are for work functions, and some are more formal.
For women
For dress lovers
Some elements of your attire must shimmer or shine. Cocktail attire is typically less formal than black or white tie and usually involves a short dress (knee-length, not floor length). On the other hand, it is in no manner “come as you are”! The cocktail dress is appropriate for dressy occasions like dinner and drinks In a sandal or shoe type, a heel is preferred, whether it is a kitten, high, or block heel. Shoes in metallic and nude styles are quite adaptable because they match with various hues and patterns.

Consider longer maxi dresses for black tie occasions. To produce a sleek appearance, use shaping underwear from companies like Skims or Spanx. Given that the dress is the main attraction, shoes can be kept simple.
For business functions
If it is a job-related activity, keep in mind that your managers are present at all times. These are the people who may or may not decide to promote you, increase your income, and/or exercise some degree of control over your future, so, dress nicely ( and don’t expose too much skin).
For club lovers
This year, there are many designs to pick from if short and tight is your thing. From shifts with marabou trim to co-ords to glitzy sequin numbers. For maximum impact, pair with strappy sandals or skyscraper platform shoes.
