How to Dress Your Tummy

Being attractive is always important to many ladies. In this post, I will focus on the biggest problem area for women, “especially 40+”, the tummy. When we begin dreaming of summer, the first thing we think about is how we’re going to hide our tummy or excess weight. However, there are some among us who secretly wish that no one would notice our tummy. It can be brought on by menopause, childbirth, or unhealthy eating and lifestyle choices. Fortunately, there are some magical techniques to conceal, and today, I’m going to reveal some of them. Instead of worrying about your tummy, you’ll learn how to camouflage it by drawing your eyes away from the stomach/belly area.

  • First rule: avoid wearing clothing that is too tight; instead, choose items that skim rather than cling.
  • Watch out that skirt and pants waistbands. Waistbands should all fit around the belly button.
  • Another option is to finish your tops just below the largest part of your tummy. Tops positioned below your stomach will make it look bigger.
  • Put on a darker top to make a colour column! And then cover it with a jacket, vest, or kimono; this will make your stomach less noticeable and the dark top disappear.
  • Put on something that will draw attention to your face. You may wear a shirt or top with a unique design or scarves and jewellery, for example (but avoid wearing long pendants that extend past the top of your bust since they will highlight your stomach)
  • Ruched tops work well because they somehow hide the tummy and make the body look more elegant as well.
  • Look for small to medium-sized patterns and designs with low to medium contrast.
  • Instead of straight hems, curved hems that drop down at the front could hide your stomach and lengthen your legs.
